Dean is a builder and surfer who has spent the last decade working on his property in Nova Scotia. With the support of a local crew of friends, he learned as he went, demo’ing an old shack, and building up Camp Bueno – a place for surfers and artists to congregate on the coast.
We partnered with Dean to produce a photo and video shoot, documenting his experience building Camp Bueno. Dean shared the highs of breakthroughs and the lows of feeling like he was in over his head.
