My name is Duncan. I was named after a Dunkin Donuts in Lewiston, Maine. I'm not kidding. My dad is from England, so he changed the spelling a bit to match my English heritage. My mom loved the name.
I'm a Production Manager at Huckberry. I split my time between managing a team of hard-working creatives and owning special creative projects. My team dedicates their time to lifestyle photography, in-house studio photography, and video campaigns. My role is to see the trees for the forest and to link creative to other departments like product and brand so that we're all pulling in the same direction.
My unique talent is my ability to be both a systems thinker and a creative partner. I'm equally as confident in leading casting as I am fine-tuning Huckberry's creative systems. For me, there's an overlap between systems thinking and creative. They both require attention to detail, a hunger for simplicity, and an uncompromising desire for symmetrical design.
